Why AI-native organizations win
William Chen · September 2026
Most companies "use AI" by buying seats, running training, and hoping. Six months later nothing has compounded.
The problem isn't the tools. It's treating AI as a personal productivity trick instead of an organizational operating model.
Level 1: personal productivity. Individuals use AI for email and summaries. People leave, capability leaves.
Level 2: process enhancement. AI slots into existing process steps. It works — but the ceiling is still the old process.
Level 3: AI-native. Redesign workflows from goals: which judgments stay human, which execution goes to agents, which knowledge becomes an asset. Output per role can be five to ten times level one.
One: is expertise structured? Can a veteran's judgment become a model and checklist that newcomers and agents both call?
Two: do decisions leave an audit trail?
Three: is cost tied to output? Every agent and workflow, visible on one dashboard.
Start from one scenario that is repetitive yet relies on professional judgment. Run it end to end, show the output, then replicate. Our three products — Baize, BatteryPEML, Nüwa — all grew this way.
If your organization is at this step, write me about your scenario.
